“Totem II (Raven Steals the Light)” by Josh Keyes. Benefits Partners in Health’s Stand With Haiti relief program ($30).
Auctions, dinners and balls for charities tend to irk me. I volunteered at one of those events for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in high school. As I watched the ladies and gentleman in their gowns and tuxes enjoy their four-course meals, I couldn’t help but wonder how many of them were motivated by their desire to get in the society pages as much as their desire to share their wealth. If you care so much about giving to this cause, I thought, why not save the organization the expense and just send in a check?
But at the end of the day, what matters is that you do it. These prints offer a way to reward you for your donation, without the cost and fanfare.
Working Proof: Donates 15% of sales to the charity of the artist’s choice ($45).
